Frequently Asked Questions

Here's answers to some of the questions we have been asked;
  1. How much is it to register your car, truck or motorcycle?   FREE
  2. How much is it to attend the show?   FREE
  3. How much does lunch cost?   FREE
  4. What are you serving for lunch?   In 2016 we served pulled pork, pulled chicken and hot dogs.  We will also have several side dishes available including baked beans and chips.  We also have assorted deserts and cookies.  All food is donated by the members of Crossroads Christian Church.
  5. What is there to do for children?  We try to ensure we have fun activities for kids and love having families come out to the show.  We have a bounce house and slide rented each year.  We also have a kids choice award sponsored by Summit Racing.  Every kid in attendance gets a special "judge" sticker and their own ballot to pick their favorite vehicle (No cheating parents.)  We also have special giveaways for kids at our kids area that are donated by Chick Fil A of Edgewater.
  6. What time is the show? The show opens at 9a.  We typically start serving lunch around 11:30a following our Worship Service.  We do giveaways throughout the event and awards at 2:30p.  The show officially closes at 3p but everyone is welcome to stay and enjoy the property.
  7. Do you have awards or trophies?  We do have a few trophies that we giveaway at the show . . . Best Car(Pre 1980 & Post 1980), Best Truck(Pre 1980 & Post 1980), Best Motorcycle, Best of Show, Pastor's Choice, People's Choice and Club Participation.  We also have sponsored awards that companies help out with each year.  In 2014, we will have Kid's Choice sponsored by Summit Racing, Best of Show sponsored by Jimmy's Rod and Customs and Best Motorcycle.sponsored by the CMA.  If you or your company would like to sponsor an award, please send us an email.
  8. Do you have any giveaways?  Yes!! The first 150 to register will receive a goody bag filled with flyers, samples and other items companies donate to the event.  Also when you register your vehicle, you will receive raffle tickets that you can use to win prizes at the awards presentation.  All awards are donated by local businesses and the members of Crossroads Christian Church.
  9. Do you have vendor spots?  As of the 2017 show, we will no longer be having vendor spots.  The only vendor spots that will be made available are to those companies/individuals that donate to show and request a spot.
  10. Do we have to attend the worship service?  While we invite anyone and everyone to attend our worship service and would love to have you with us, you are not required to attend.  For those wanting to attend, worship service starts at 10a and runs till about 11/11:15.  We would love for everyone to come and attend!!!
  11. Registration  We get lots of different questions regarding registration and we will try to cover lots of them here.  You can pre register for the show at https://crossroadsnsb.wufoo.com/forms/8th-annual-crossroads-fathers-day-car-show/.  When you pre register, we try to give you a few more goodies in your goody bag and you also get a couple more raffle tickets (more chances to win!!!).  It also allows us to fill out paperwork before the show.  You do not have to pre register and we will have a registration table the day of the show.  We also would love for everyone that attends to register for the show so that we can get an accurate count for the show and so that you can get your goody bag and raffle tickets.  Also, to be eligible for the awards, you must be registered.  Even if you are just going to be there for a couple of hours, we would greatly appreciate you registering at the show.
